Easy Homemade Furniture & Floor Polish

Two ingredients.  Yes, two.  Both of which I have sitting in my cupboard at all times making this furniture and floor polish a snap to make.  I found the original recipe on eHow and altered it from what I had on hand in my pantry.  And, it’s super!  I love it.  It makes my floors look amazing and my furniture look nearly new, well, in a vintage sort of way.  :)

Here’s what you need:

1/2 cup white vinegar

1 cup olive oil (extra virgin is what I used)

Combine.  Wet a rag in the mixture and then apply it directly to the floor.  Buff off with a dry rag until absorbed into the surface.  I was able to polish my wood furniture, trim, and three large floors with the amounts used in this recipe.  A little bit goes a long way.  And, because this recipe contains white vinegar, it doubles as a cleaner and disinfectant while it brightens and shines!
